ONU Life Week 15

    Welcome everyone to my last blog! So as I am typing this it makes me sad but happy that this is the last blog that I am going to write. However, I want to give you all a recap of what happened throughout this whole semester! To start off, we all remember my book madness that happen during the first week of this semester which was crazy to think about now since we are getting closer to the end of my semester. Reflecting back on this semester I will have to say I feel like I got more involved and tried out for more things than I did in my last semester. I became a secretary for Sister to Sister, Orientation Leader, a Residential Assistant and a Tour Guide for the ONU. Looking back on it I really didn't think I was going to get all of these jobs but somehow I did! I know going into the next semester I am so excited to experience new things and meet new people from all over campus plus training and telling others what ONU has to offer. Also, I am really excited to see it from another perspective from being a sophomore next year! While being a freshman this year I have learned a lot about ONU and made a lot of friends. I will say I didn't expect to meet and make as many friends as I did but I guess this is college life! However, I am excited to see what next year will bring and the new friends that I will make!     I relate and feel like I did more this semester than I did in the previous one! I'm glad you were able to do so much these past couple of months and meet many new people along the way. I'm excited to see what our sophmore year brings. I hope you have a great summer, I've enjoyed reading your blogs :)

     Hey, guys welcome back to my blog! I hope everyone had a good Easter this past weekend because I did! Let me tell you what I did this Easter weekend! Friday, I got to see my aunt, uncle and little cousin. They are from Maryland and they just bought a camper so they brought it to Ohio with them so they could go camping and for my family and I to check it out which was pretty nice! Later in the day, we went on an easter egg hunt for my nephew and my cousin. I didn't know that it was the first Easter egg hunt that my town put on which was a great turnout but was pretty crazy when the kids went to get the eggs. I am going to tell you it was like the "Hunger Games." Saturday, my family and I colored goose eggs, duck eggs and chicken eggs for Easter this year which was pretty interesting. Bellefontaine Trip

      A couple weeks ago I went to Bellefontaine with my friends. We usually try to plan things every weekend to keep us busy but this time we decided to go to Bellefontaine again! This time on this trip we had a couple of things planned but not a ton so the first thing we got was some hot chocolate because it was a cold day then we went shopping. We looked at antique shops and little small business shops. All the shops that we went to were very cute and we had a lot of fun! I got a shirt at an antique shop so did my friends too! A couple hours later, we went to my friend Maddie's house to have dinner. For dinner, we had chicken alfredo with garlic bread and my friends and I ate all the garlic bread! Later that night, we planned on going to Maddie's sister's play which was a musical called "Into the Woods." The play was amazing with the actors, actresses, and the decorations too! ONU Life Week 1

A week ago, I came back early for track, but I can tell you it was weird but nice to be back on campus before everyone else came back to campus. Then a week later class started, my first day back for the second semester at Ohio Northern University was kind of overwhelming from a month break to rolling into the next semester. I have to say my professors wasted no time to start their classes. Right off the back, they had me doing assignments that were literally due next week! But that is not even the most overwhelming thing that happen that week. What made my week was not being able to buy my books. You might say buying your books for class should be easy, well your wrong. I tried buying my books probably three times online and it failed because the server wasn't working so I had to walk to the ONU Bookstore to see if they could help me.
