A Fun Weekend Back Home!

    You're probably thinking from the title why did Ammryn go back home even though we just had Thanksgiving break? Good question. Well, I went back home to visit some family friends that I am housesitting for. I originally thought that I was going to have to make a day trip of going they're then coming back to Ohio Northern but thankfully that wasn't the case. Friday night a bunch of my events were cancelled so I was able to leave a little earlier than expected which helped a lot. 

    On Saturday, I was able to enjoy it by going to a shop in Logan, Ohio called Gifts That Gives Back vendor market with my aunt and my mother. We had so much fun looking around and buying stuff! Plus, half of the profits that were made at the event were going to those who were in need. I loved everything thing about it! They had so much Christmas stuff I bought a peppermint hot cocoa bomb, homemade soap, and my mom bought some pretty ornaments. 

    Later that night, I went to go see the people that I was housesitting for and we talked for hours about taking care of the animals, what was new in their house, how I was doing, and small talk some more. I will say I got there at 6:30 pm and didn't leave until 10 pm so I was there for a hot minute. But I enjoyed every minute of it! Although I must go back to campus to finish up my semester, I am happy with the memories that I have made and excited to see what next semester brings. Until next time!

    I am glad you had a great week at home! It is always refreshing to have a little change of scenery and spend time with family. I hope you have a strong finish to the semester.

     Hey, guys welcome back to my blog! I hope everyone had a good Easter this past weekend because I did! Let me tell you what I did this Easter weekend! Friday, I got to see my aunt, uncle and little cousin. They are from Maryland and they just bought a camper so they brought it to Ohio with them so they could go camping and for my family and I to check it out which was pretty nice! Later in the day, we went on an easter egg hunt for my nephew and my cousin. I didn't know that it was the first Easter egg hunt that my town put on which was a great turnout but was pretty crazy when the kids went to get the eggs. Bellefontaine Trip

      A couple weeks ago I went to Bellefontaine with my friends. We usually try to plan things every weekend to keep us busy but this time we decided to go to Bellefontaine again! This time on this trip we had a couple of things planned but not a ton so the first thing we got was some hot chocolate because it was a cold day then we went shopping. We looked at antique shops and little small business shops. All the shops that we went to were very cute and we had a lot of fun! I got a shirt at an antique shop so did my friends too! A couple hours later, we went to my friend Maddie's house to have dinner. For dinner, we had chicken alfredo with garlic bread and my friends and I ate all the garlic bread! ONU Life Week 1

A week ago, I came back early for track, but I can tell you it was weird but nice to be back on campus before everyone else came back to campus. Then a week later class started, my first day back for the second semester at Ohio Northern University was kind of overwhelming from a month break to rolling into the next semester. I have to say my professors wasted no time to start their classes. Right off the back, they had me doing assignments that were literally due next week! But that is not even the most overwhelming thing that happen that week. What made my week was not being able to buy my books. You might say buying your books for class should be easy, well your wrong. I tried buying my books probably three times online and it failed because the server wasn't working so I had to walk to the ONU Bookstore to see if they could help me.
