Time to learn about Social Media Marketing: Chapter 10
In Chapter 10 in "Essentials of Social Media Marketing," I learned how YouTube responded to COVID-19 on their platform. I use YouTube a lot to watch tutorials or just watch videos for entertainment. But I was merely interested in learning more about how YouTube responded to COVID-19. Some things that YouTube did to respond to COVID-19 is updating its Community Guidelines to include a page on COVID-19 misinformation. YouTube also partnered with Centers for Disease Control to launch a link to a COVID-19 self-assessment in its health panel in Search. They even introduced a destination button on the Explore tab for creators participating in the #StayHome #WithMe campaign. I remember seeing these hashtags when I was watching videos or shorts on YouTube during the shutdown that happen March 2020.
